A lot of men think they understand fatherhood going into it. Then it happens and they realise they have no fucking idea.
Here's something you didn't know. Fatherhood is an initiation. One that continually tests you on every level. Fatherhood is community. It is not meant to be done alone. Rites of passage were never conducted by the father, but by other men within the village. Because that is what it takes to raise a child. A village.
Within the work we look at the living map of fatherhood through a framework of lived experience called Fathertree. A mythical, metaphorical language for understanding the pillars of healthy, conscious fatherhood and how this grows within us. It is anchored in science and the brain development of children, whilst offering something more. Something more livable. Not a system. A map. Not linear, but breathing.
The method was developed from lived journey and stories of fathers held together by their shared paths.
