Fatherhood
A father's
initiation.
Most men think they understand fatherhood until they become a father.
Then it happens and they realise they had no idea what was really being asked of them.
Fatherhood is an initiation.
It tests you emotionally, mentally, relationally and spiritually. It exposes your wounds, your conditioning, your patience, your presence and your capacity to lead with love. And it keeps doing so, over and over again.
It was never meant to be done alone.
For most of human history, rites of passage were not guided by the father alone, but by other men within the village. Because raising children has always been communal work. A child needs a village, but so does a father.
Within this work we explore fatherhood through a living framework called Fathertree.
Fathertree is a metaphorical and experiential map of conscious fatherhood. It brings together lived experience, child development, nervous system awareness and masculine mentorship into something practical, human and deeply relational.
Not a rigid system. A living map.
Something that breathes alongside the realities of family life, relationships and personal growth.
The method emerged through years of lived experience, men's work and the shared stories of fathers walking this path together. It continues to evolve through community, reflection and the understanding that fatherhood itself is never finished.
